Outstanding

Having read the 3 earlier books in the series and enjoyed each one, I was really hoping this new #4 would not disappoint and thankfully, "Bells" is a winner. The very beginning seemed a bit slow but the pace quickly picked up and continued at a healthy gallop. I was particularly grateful that an interesting sub-plot was re-visited in a delicate and very satisfactory manner, and I hope to see this expand in future books. Gerry was charming as always, and all the usual characters were present and added to the book. The denouement was very satisfying and definitely surprising. Now my only concern is when we will get to enjoy more of this adventuresome crew!

Addictive

Having read the other books in this series, I've been anxiously awaiting this new book, and it did not disappoint. It is getting to be a serious addiction to want to see the characters' development as well as where they are going to be next book. Each book is a stand alone mystery, but I recommend reading them all in order : book1 City of Darkness, book 2 City of Light, book 3 City of Silence and this 4th installment, City of Bells, so as to get cozy with the wonderful set of characters in the book, including those I wish were more frequent in the books. If you enjoy fiction woven with facts, and historical books, those should make you happy.

Series gets better and better

Ms Wright has done it again. I've enjoyed all the books in this series. This is my favorite.
I really have enjoyed getting to know the characters and look forward to the next.
