WOW at my age (pass the big hill) I thought I knew how to have control a conversation. May be control isn't the right word to use. This book really is a great book. It gave me a few ways to deal with those odd get together or awkward family gathers. I read one review and it mention if you are an introvert this is a book for you to read and you will be much more prepared for like the office party. The book will give you tools in a way to deal with all the different conversation you may encounter. No one would be able to guess you are an introvert. It is an easy read.

The perfect X's and O's book when it comes to making conversation

This is an awesome book. If you're introverted, this book is a definite must read. It's not a book filled with fluff but rather the different strategies you might need to employ when it comes to making small talk. Patrick goes into detail about the different ways you might use conversation from making friends, hitting on girls, and my favorite - defending yourself against people who might try to railroad you in a conversation.
If you're an engineer like I am, this is a must have for career development and advancement.
